The shotgun rested across Reverend Isaiah Cole’s open Bible. A
bloodstained cedar cross lay beneath its trigger, and one boy’s face had
been scratched from an old church photograph. Joseph and Karen
Cauthen had been asked by Cole’s frightened daughter to help find him
